Episode 02 - Philip Cox-Hynd: Building Emotional Resilience

Building Emotional Resilience

Over the last 18 months the topic of emotional resilience has become a regular discussion point throughout the Covid pandemic. As we have been more isolated and self-reliant we have needed to dig deep into our emotional reserves when separated from loved ones, friends, and colleagues.

We are delighted that Philip Cox-Hynd has agreed to chat further with us and explore improving our mental wellbeing in all aspects of our life. In this episode, we explore the categories of emotion that drive our feelings and behaviours and how better to manage them - Philip gives us tools and techniques to be more resilient.

When speaking to employers over the last number of years, resilience in the workplace has become key to making good hires and career progression. Employers deliberately seek out candidates who choose to see difficulty as a challenge, take ownership of their roles, demonstrate commitment and spend their time, emotions, and energy on areas within their control.
