Episode 04 - Gary Lloyd - How to Enjoy Successful Change

There are few of us whom have not experienced significant change in our lives and work, especially during the Covid Pandemic. Organisations have been forced into changes over these last two years, including digital adoption, remote working and implementation of new tools and techniques to deliver to their customers.

However, the track record of change initiatives within organisations is not good. So the question is Why do change initiatives and projects continue to fall short of their expected value?

Thankfully, we have a change expert at hand to help us. We have recorded two interviews with Gary Lloyd, (author of Gardeners not Mechanics) with the purpose of uncovering solutions and strategies to help us manage the ongoing changes to our ways of working. Gary has directed IT-enabled organisational change for nearly 30 years as a leader and a consultant. Most of that has been in banking and financial markets. In parallel, for the last 12 years, he has also been an executive coach and mentor for Warwick Business School.
