We are looking for a contract IT Project Manager with a strong background in project governance and administration to join our team. This role is focused on ensuring the successful management and delivery of IT projects while implementing robust governance structures, compliance standards, and project documentation practices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT project management and a keen eye for detail, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organisational standards.

Oversee and manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring compliance with governance standards, timelines, budgets, and quality metrics.
Develop and implement governance frameworks to establish clear decision-making processes, roles, responsibilities, and reporting mechanisms.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Establish and maintain project documentation, including project charters, governance models, risk registers, and issue logs.
Lead project status meetings, ensuring thorough documentation and clear, actionable follow-up.
Create and manage project plans, including scope, resources, and timelines, to meet organizational objectives and requirements.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating as necessary to senior management and stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for project governance, keeping stakeholders informed through regular status updates and reporting.
Work closely with finance, compliance, and legal teams to ensure accurate budgeting, contract management, and adherence to administrative standards.
Facilitate post-project reviews, capturing lessons learned and identifying areas for improvement in governance processes.

5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on governance and administration in IT environments.
Deep understanding of IT project governance, compliance requirements, and best practices in documentation.
Demonstrated experience in developing governance frameworks and maintaining compliance throughout project lifecycles.
Proficiency in project management and governance tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
